Studio Rental Space
Private studio space (15' x 15' or 15' x 7.5') is available for interested amateur and professional artists.
Eligibility Qualifications
To rent Private Studio space, the individual must demonstrate their ability to work independently in the studio.
Benefits
• Renters will have 24/7 access to the facilities
• Access to clays, glazes, glaze chemicals and firings at reduced costs.
Private Rental Rules
• Only the registered “Rental Studio” artist is permitted to work in the
studio. Friends and family are welcome to visit, but are not allowed
to “hang-out” in the building.
• This is a non-smoking facility.
• No Pets.
• Use only clays and glazes either purchased through the Ceramic
Center or approved by the Center's staff. No exceptions.
• Use headphones for music in the studio.
• The Ceramics Center does not provide wheels for private studio use.
Additionally, items such as wax, tools, plastic, ware boards, etc. are
not provided for Studio Rental members. Please provide your own.
Cost
• Six month rental agreement fee: $720 ($120 per month)
• Twelve-month rental agreement fee: $1440 ($120 per month)
(10 % off twelve month rental fee when pre-paid: $1296)
• A security deposit and one month's rent are due before moving in: $240
• Glazing and firing fees are in addition to the rental fee.

Open Studio rental allows access to the shared studio space and facilities in the main studio, as well as use of the Center's glazes and kilns. An eight week minimum lease is required.

To rent Open Studio space, the individual must have completed at least one clay class at the Center and/or demonstrate their ability to work independently in the studio.
Benefits
• Access to the studio and its facilities during designated Ceramics Center
hours.
• A designated shelving area for your tools and work.
• Use of the Ceramics Center's studio glazes. The costs of bisque and glaze
firings are separate.
• Access to clays, commercial glazes and glaze chemicals at reduced costs.
Open Studio Rules
• Only the registered “Open Studio Artist” is permitted to work in the studio.
Friends and family are welcome to visit on occasion, but are not allowed to
use the facilities or “hang-out” while the “Open Studio Artist” is working.
• On occasion, the studios will be closed for special events. Watch for the
postings on the message board.
• This is a non-smoking facility.
• No cell phones are allowed in the main studio area.
• No Pets.
• If you would like to use a piece of equipment, and are not sure how it
works, please ask for help.
• Use only clays and glazes either purchased through the Ceramic Center or
approved by the Center's staff. No exceptions.
• You must clean up your work area, wheels, tables, glaze or kiln before
leaving the building.
• When you are finished working, check the floor; if it is dirty, use the mop or
broom.
• Use headphones for music in the studio.
• Please use only your assigned area on the storage shelves. Keep all of
your things on these shelves. Do not store anything on the floor.
Cost
• Eight week term: $90.00
• Four week term: $55.00
• Each term must be paid for in advance.
• 10% discount with Stoneware Membership level or above.
