Volunteers
“Volunteers” are those members of the community who wish to help out the Center through the donation of their time and/or expertise. Non-profit organizations like the Ceramics Center are dependent on the goodwill and efforts of volunteers to maintain their operations and keep their doors open.
We can use your help in the following areas:
Office: includes taking registrations, filing, answering emails and the phone, quick book point of sales and data entry, information distribution
Studio: assist with the loading and unloading of kilns, make test tiles, tools, stamps, chucks, and molds for the studio.
Educational Activities: assist with camps, classes, and workshops including the Raku in the Schools program.
Receptions/Special Events: help setup, clean and serve for workshops, fundraisers, holiday events, birthday parties, and other special events.
Please fill out a volunteer application and contact the Center's Volunteer Coordinator, Carol Nordstrom, for ways that you can help out.
