Storytime in Clay
It’s “Wild Things”, “Little Pigs”, “Cats in Hats”,
and all your other favorite stories. Class will begin
with 20 minutes of story time! These stories are
sure to inspire the artist in everyone as students
take to the clay and recreate their favorite characters.

The Aliens Have Landed
The Ceramics Center will be better known as “Monsters Inc.” during this camp. Come create
a one-eyed monster, three-headed alien, or spaceship
from clay. You will only be limited by your
imagination as you create your own one of a kind
monsters.

Anything That Pours
Using several construction methods, you will get
to explore the world of pots that pour – pitchers,
tea pots, gravy boats, and batter bowls. It will be
great, using what you make. Campers will develope
skills in both hand-building and throwing on
the potters wheel.

Ceramic Tips and Tricks: The Wheel
Expand your skills with clay and learn a new bag
of tricks to impress your family and friends. Innovative
techniques using the potter’s wheel will
improve your skills - and handy tips of the trade
will show you how the professionals do it. You
will make a wide variety of projects as you explore
new forms and ideas in clay. Beginners, as well as
experienced students, are encouraged to sign-up.
